About the Wood Technology Department


The Wood Technology Department at Kikam Technical Institute trains students in the practical skills needed for modern woodwork, carpentry, joinery, and furniture production. The program combines technical knowledge with hands-on workshop training, helping students develop accuracy, creativity, and confidence in working with wood and related materials.


Students are introduced to both traditional and modern woodworking techniques. They learn how to plan, measure, cut, shape, assemble, and finish wood products for domestic, commercial, and industrial use.
